Zayed National Museum – Completed Project by Trojan General Contracting
In a historic moment for the nation, the Zayed National Museum officially opened its doors today, 3 December 2025, marking a major cultural milestone for the United Arab Emirates. The landmark project, delivered with the leadership of Trojan General Contracting, now stands as the country’s premier institution dedicated to the life, legacy, and vision of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
Located in the Saadiyat Cultural District, the museum showcases the UAE’s story across more than 300,000 years of human history — from ancient archaeological discoveries to the remarkable rise of the modern Emirates. The building features five steel wings inspired by falconry, a symbol closely connected to Sheikh Zayed’s heritage.
Trojan General Contracting played a central role in delivering this ambitious national project, overseeing the construction of the museum’s structural elements, advanced internal galleries, and landscaped surroundings. With strong engineering expertise and precise execution, Trojan transformed a visionary architectural concept into a world-class cultural destination.
The museum includes six permanent galleries and additional spaces for rotating exhibitions. These display rare artefacts, archaeological items, cultural collections, and immersive storytelling installations. Outdoor elements such as gardens, walkways, and water features were also completed under Trojan’s supervision to enhance the visitor experience.
With its opening, the Zayed National Museum stands as a tribute to the UAE’s founding father and reflects the nation’s ongoing commitment to culture, heritage, and innovation.
